Antiphellos Ancient Theater

Antiphellos or Antifellos is one of the ancient cities of the Lycian region, located in today’s Kaş settlement. While it was originally a settlement serving as the harbor of Phellos, it developed over time and left Phellos behind.

You can’t visit Kaş without shopping. Uzun Bazaar, where you can see Seljuk architecture, embraces its visitors with its historical texture. While touring the bazaar with its left and right shops, you can feel the texture of Kaş
with its 2-storey historical bay window houses and friendly people. You can also make your trip meaningful by visiting the narrow streets in between. The King’s tomb dating from the 4th century BC is located at the end of the long bazaar. Lycian monuments are raised sarcophagi consisting of 3 sections
. The tomb is also known as “Lion Sarcophagus”. You can visit these sarcophagi in the district center.

Patara Ancient City

Patara, one of the most important and oldest cities of the Lycian civilization, fascinates its visitors with its historical and natural texture. The city, whose name was mentioned as Patar in Hittite texts in the 13th century BC, dates back to ancient times. Another importance of this place is that it is the birthplace of Saint Nicholas, known as Santa Claus. For this reason, it also has an important place for Christians. It is also the birthplace of Apollo according to mythology. It is 42 km from the center of Kaş and is located in Ovagelemiş Village.

Museum of Lycian Civilizations

Museum of Lycian Civilizations

Built in 129 as a granary, the building was converted into a museum and opened to visitors in 2016. The
museum, which welcomes its visitors under the name of the Museum of Lycian Civilizations, has 1476 artifacts unearthed during excavations in ancient cities such as Patara. Myra, Xahthos, Tlos and Olympos, which are among the important cities of the union, are exhibited.

Saklikent

Saklikent National Park

Saklıkent National Park, commonly known as Saklıkent Canyon, is the canyon formed by the Karaçay, a tributary of the Eşen Stream, which lines the border between Antalya and Muğla. It is 18 km long and 200 m high. The narrowest part is up to 2 meters. The distance from the center is 65 km. Daily Jeep Safari Tours are organized to Saklikent National Park. Kucukcakil Beach

Küçük Çakıl is a tiny, 10-meter-long pebble cove between the rocks in the center. This is the only place in the center of Kaş where you can swim flat footed. The sea is cool because it mixes with spring water. It is open to everyone and free of charge.

Patara Beach

Patara Beach

Patara Beach is located near the ancient city of Patara and is one of the largest beaches in this region. The 18 km long beach is 200-300 meters deep in places. The sand is fine and the sea is shallow. It is also suitable for windsurfing due to the almost constant wind.
Patara beach is under protection because it is among the places where sea turtles (Caretta caretta) lay eggs.

Limanağzı is a bay that can be reached by taxi boats departing from the center and you can see it diagonally when you look from Kaş. You can reach the bay in 15-20 minutes with small boats departing from Kaş harbor every half hour. There is a beach where children can enter from the shore.

This is the closest bay to the center of Kaş after Küçük Çakıl. It can be reached in 20 minutes on foot. You can easily reach the bay, which is 1.3 km away from the center, with the city minibuses departing every hour. Büyük Çakıl is also one of the most beautiful spots to watch the sunset. As the sun sets, a few restaurants set their tables right next to the sea, right on the pebbles. This creates a magical setting where you can eat the closest to the sea in Kaş.
