With a sustainable environmental approach, we aim to leave a clean and healthy environment for future generations and to protect natural and cultural heritage. In this context, we undertake to fulfill the following responsibilities. Our priority is to follow national and international developments in the field of sustainability, integrate these developments into facility policies, comply with legal regulations and raise awareness on human rights, children’s rights, employee rights and guest rights. When planning our investments; we take into account the risks of our buildings and infrastructure systems to protected sensitive areas, historical heritage, integrity of the natural and cultural environment.

About the Report

As of 2023, we started our sustainability efforts. We aim to share the progress we have made in this direction with our management, employees, guests, suppliers and all other partners, and thus increase the awareness we will create at this point and turn it into common goals and achievements.

This sustainability report includes data for the period between 2022 and 2025.

In the sustainability report we published as Aqua Princess Hotel, we aimed to share with our stakeholders the work we have done in the environmental and social fields and our future goals regarding these issues. The report includes data between 01.05.2022-30.08.2025. We aim to continuously improve our sustainability-related activities with the opinions and suggestions of our valuable stakeholders.

Message from Cappari Hotels General Manager

Cappari Hotels brand was established on 28.03.2013 in Kaş district of Antalya. Our first hotel, Aqua Princess Hotel in Kas, was opened on November 1, 1996 in Andifli Mah Hükümet Cad No 63 Kas Antalya with 43 rooms, 39 rooms and 80 beds.

Aiming to grow in the field of tourism, our company brought Aquarius Hotel with a capacity of 38 rooms and 64 beds to tourism in Kaş Peninsula region on 01.04.2005. The number of personnel working at the company is close to 60 employees.

Today, it continues to offer services that aim to provide and exceed the highest level of guest satisfaction in its facilities that host guests from various parts of Turkey and the world.

The mission of Cappari Hotels is to add value to our stakeholders and become a leader in tourism by applying sustainable tourism principles with the participation of all our employees. We will continue to serve as honest, hardworking and reliable with our open, transparent management style and professionalism principles.

We respect the environment and the Earth in order to be respected… Cappari Hotels aims to control the amount of water, electricity, energy, chemicals, solid waste and minimize the damage to the environment and natural resources without compromising the comfort of its guests.

With the measures we have taken in the light of sustainable tourism principles, the use of natural resources has been reduced, and practices have been updated to minimize and, if possible, eliminate the damages to soil, water and air. We will continue to carry out our activities to provide social benefit and add value to our stakeholders.

Sustainability in Procurement

  1. Our business purchases locally made manufactured goods instead of imported products, except in non-essential cases.
  2. Local companies are preferred over multinational companies when procuring services where this is not mandatory.
  3. First of all, the alternatives of the machinery and equipment purchased to our business are researched and preferred with A class and/or low energy consuming features.

LAUNDRY USE The work uniforms of all our employees are cleaned free of charge.
LODGING SERVICE: Free lodging accommodation service is provided for our staff who need lodging.
STAFF DINING HALL: The dining hall is free of charge for our staff.
STAFF NIGHT: Every year at the end of the season, a holiday is organized for the staff and the whole staff goes on holiday to increase their motivation.
STAFF BARBECUE: At the beginning of the season, a barbecue party is organized for all staff for motivation.

Our Environmental Approach

Recycling and Renewable Energy

-Recyclable materials are separated in our facility.
-Recyclable paper is used in our facility.
-In order to reduce water consumption and wastewater, we have limited the change period of hotel bed linen, towels and sheets to 3 days.
-During the years 2022-2025, hazardous wastes were prevented from entering the nature and delivered to the municipality. In order not to pollute the water, completely organic solid hand soaps are used in the rooms and all other common areas. To reduce the carbon footprint and prevent air pollution, we have reduced the use of hotel cars by limiting purchase requests to two days a week.
-A system is used to cut off the electrical energy after our guests leave the room.
-Compact Fluorescent bulbs and LED lighting are preferred in 75% of our lighting systems
-The mini bars in the guest rooms are positioned so that they do not receive direct sunlight in order to prevent heating
-Timeclocks are used in outdoor lighting.
-Lighting times are adjusted according to summer and winter hours.
-Electricity consumption is reduced thanks to frequency inverters in heating system pumps, booster pumps and air conditioners.
-Cappari Hotels Aqua Princess has solar panels and some of the hot water needs are provided from these panels. In this way, electricity consumption is saved in our hotel.

Aqua Princess Hotel has a total of 43 rooms of different types.

There are 2 restaurants, 1 pool, 1 beach and 1 bar within our facility.

Our beach is open from 08.00 am to 19.00 pm.

Our restaurant is open from 08.00 am until 20.00 pm and our bar section is open from 09.00 am until 02.30 pm.

Our pool service hours are between 08.00 am and 20.00 pm.

Chemical Consumption

  • In order to ensure the general hygiene of chemicals in our facility, we provide continuous training to our staff to ensure that they are used in sufficient quantities.
  • Frequent inspections are carried out to ensure that the chemicals we use are applied in appropriate quantities.

While the number of female employees was 8 in 2022, this number continues to be 7 in 2023 and 2024. 2023 and 2024 The reason for the decrease in the number of female employees is the traffic accident and illness of our staff.

In 2022, the number of male employees will be 13, while in 2023-2024 the number of male employees will be 11.

Social Activities

Sustainable development is a concept with social, ecological, economic, spatial and cultural dimensions. As Aqua Princess Hotel, we are aware of and committed to our responsibilities in sustainable tourism and development. We strive to leave a better world for future generations. Our corporate vision, million, culture, values and ethical principles guide us in fulfilling these responsibilities.

We choose our product and service suppliers from local companies. We prefer to use local products. We do not throw away the waste of bakery products produced in our hotels, we give it to local people and use it as animal feed. We create internship opportunities for tourism students to gain work experience. We support our employees with trainings and a career management program. We aim to train our own staff as much as possible, promote our own staff to higher positions and grow together. Increasing the contribution of tourism to the host destination by supporting measures to increase the proportion of visitors staying overnight, meeting with local producers and service providers, and spending locally. Increase the number and quality of local jobs created by tourism by promoting occupational specialization and improving wages and service quality, without discrimination on the basis of race, gender, disability, etc. Strive for a widespread and equitable distribution of the economic and social benefits derived from tourism activities and improve opportunities, income and services provided to economically and socially disadvantaged groups. As Aqua Princess Hotel, we welcome our guests with Turkish hospitality with the mentality of ‘guest’ not ‘customer’ and take care of all their problems during their vacation. We are aware that the most important way to make a difference is to provide quality services to our guests and to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction. The requests of our guests are important for us to provide a quality service. In cases where we receive complaints from guests, we examine them objectively, carefully and carefully and act solution-oriented. By offering special theme nights to our guests, we try to introduce our own culture and keep their satisfaction at the highest level.

Our hotel respects the intellectual property rights of local people. Authentic elements of traditional and contemporary local culture are utilized in our cuisine, design and decoration. As Aqua Princess Hotel, in order to protect and promote our cultural heritage, we provide access to information about nearby settlements, historical beauties, crafts and archaeological remains through many communication channels.
